PHOTONEWS: Gbajabiamila signed 20 bills for onward transmission 2 Senate & then, President

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila today signed 20 bills earlier passed by the member for onward transmission to the Senate before the President for assent.

According to the statement on his verified Facebook account, Gbajabiamila said one of bills is aimed at addressing the issue of insecurity is the Armed Forces of Nigeria Trust Fund Bill, 2021 which seeks to provide special financial support for the armed Forces of Nigeria to make provision of regular training for armed forces personnel, and the provision of security and defence equipment.

According to the Speaker one other significant bill is the National Agricultural Development Fund Bill, 2021 which seeks to provide funding for agricultural development, passed by the House on Wed. 13th October, 2021.
