Breaking: Amaechi Arrives National Assembly, 2022 Joint Budget defense begins
The Hon Min. Of Transportation Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has arrived at the National Assembly Complex for the 2022 Joint budget defence presentation on all transportation sector.
The Hon Minister will present the 2022 budget proposal for all IGR agencies under the Ministry and also review the 2021 Budget Performance and defence of the 2022 budget proposal of the ministry.
It can be recalled that, earlier in October, the president of the federal republic of Nigeria President Buhari, Presented the 2022 Budget proposal, which had an estimate of N16.39 trillion, which was presented before a Joint session of the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, the N1.45tn allocated for infrastructure includes provisions for Works and Housing, Power (inclusive of Power Sector Recovery Programme provisions), Transport, Water Resources and Aviation.
