Tom Cruise’s $190,000 BMW Stolen While on set
According to The Guardian, the actor in Birmingham, England working on the latest installment of the mission impossible franchise when his $190,000 BMW X7 was taken.
The outlet adds that the car contained thousands of dollars worth of luggage and personal belongings.
The thieves stole the car by using a scanner to clone a copy of it’s original key fob. It was parked outside the Grand Hotel where Tom had been staying in and was recovered in Smethwick, which is about three miles away.
However, when police found it, Tom’s personal belongings were reportedly missing. “Tom had been driven around in the car while in Birmingham and some of his luggage and belongings were inside it when it was taken,” a source told The Sun.
“It’s a huge embarrassment for the security team and the guy who had been driving it was hopping mad — but not as mad as Tom!”
Tom has been in the English countryside for quite some time working on his new movie, which is set to premiere in theaters on May 27, 2022.
