Newly Reappointed Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation Engr. Fidet Okhiria paid a surprise visit to the Railway station located at idu abuja.
The Railway boss who was on an impromptu visit went round the idu train facilities to inspect the activities of the railway staff especially on issue of Ticket Racketeering. Eng. Fidet Okhiria subsequently addressed the issue of E-ticketing.
” The issue of ticket Racketeering is one the corporation is taking seriously and we are doing everything we can to ensure that it’s curb to the bearest minimum or completely.
It has been brought to our notice that some persons have been involved in this act for some time now , we advised those who might be involve to desist from such act as the cooperation will not hesitate to bring down the full arm of the law on those caught
