Nigeria at 60: Queen Elizabeth congratulates Nigerians

Queen of England, Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the Nation’s 60th anniversary celebration. Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), Femi Adesina, said the queen’s message was contained in letter to President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Mr. Adesina, the Monarch said, “It gives me great pleasure to offer my warmest congratulations on the 60th anniversary of Nigeria’s Independence, together with my best wishes for your country’s continued happiness & prosperity.”
