Amaechi, Saraki, others host World Maritime Day

The Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi; Honourable Minister of State for Transportation, Senator Gbemisola Saraki and Dr. Magdalene Ajani Permanent are among the officials of Federal Ministry of Transportation, who will be hosting the 2020 World Maritime Day Celebration.

The event which is holding at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, has the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as Chief Host. The event will have a Technical session which will be moderated by the Managing Director, Nigerian Port Authority, Hadiza Bala Usman.

The 2020 World Maritime Day is hosted in partnership with the Nigerian Port Authority, the National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA and the Nigerian Shippers Council. Others are the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria, CRFFN, and the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, NITT.
