SERAP condemns attacks on #RevolutionNow protesters
The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, has condemned violent attacks on #RevolutionNow protesters in Abuja, Lagos, Osogbo and other parts of the country.
SERAP, a non-profit organisation, in a statement signed by its Deputy Director, Kolawole Oluwadare, asked the regime of President Muhammadu Buhari to “end the use of excessive force against protesters, and allow people to peacefully exercise their human rights”.
It had been reported earlier that several #RevolutionNow protesters were arrested by operatives of the State Security Service, the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Army in different parts of the country where the demonstrations held on Wednesday.
