Buhari, Masari meet at Aso Rock
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, met with the governor of his home state, Katsina, Aminu Masari.
However, the agenda of the meeting held inside the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, has yet to be made public.
The meeting may, however, discuss security challenges, especially banditry, in the state and the entire North West.
katsina state has been under attack of bandits, as the governor had recently lamented the insufficiency of police officers and security operatives to challenge the attacks by bandits.
Masari, speaking at a luncheon organised by the Nigerian Air Force to celebrate the Eid-El-Kabir with frontline troops in Katsina, alleged that bandits have become emboldened because of insufficient security operatives to tackle banditry in the state.
