COVID-19: Nigeria records highest daily toll since outbreak
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 745 new cases of COVID-19 in the country, bringing the number of cases to 18, 480.
In a post on its website, the NCDC said 280 new cases were in Lagos; 103 in Oyo; 72 in Ebony; 60 in the FCT; 46 in Imo; and 25 in Rivers.
The NCDC also announced that 6,307 patients had been discharged so far, while 475 deaths have been recorded in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
