Nigerians Mourns the Death of Hajjiya Halima Wife of Sen. Kabir Gaya
The Senator representing Kano South in the Senate Chambers of the National Assembly, Senator Kabir Gaya a leader well-loved, respected and accepted by all, who is known for his competence in leadership skills, coupled with forthright actions towards ensuring the growth and development of the country and has always been a source of support and comfort to the poor masses loses his dearly beloved wife Hajjiya Halima Gaya on the 22nd May, 2020.
The Senator whose loss came as a shock not to him alone, but her family and loved ones as well the entire Nigerian citizens who recognize her husband the Senator to be a kind hearted leader who welcomes all not minding tribes, religion or financial background and the demise of his beloved wife was a great source of unhappiness for his well-wishers, and this garnered sympathy and condolences from across the country for his loss.
Gaya was Executive Governor, of Kano State from 1992 to 1993. But a current and active Senator.
The leader has received condolence messages from all around including his colleagues, notable authority figures, friends, families, and well-wishers.
Hajjiya Halima like her husband was a source of strength to the society at large and was highly spoken of by the people because of her generosity and kind heart towards the people.
President Muhammadu Buhari and President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, the Deputy Senate President, the Speaker House of Reps, the Deputy Speaker, and the entire National Assembly staffs have commiserated with Senator Gaya over the death of Hajiya Halima.
Even the common men and women in the country share his pain and prayed that God grants him the heart to condole the pain and that the deceased be grant eternal rest in the bosom of the Almighty God.
President Buhari, in a statement, described late Hajiya Halima as a “remarkable woman who dedicated herself to promoting education”.
The Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan also commiserated with the people and government of Kano State over the tragic loss of a pillar behind their former governor.
“I express my heartfelt condolences to the Gaya family and share their grief over the death of a beloved wife and loving mother.
“May Almighty Allah console the entire family, give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and accept the soul of the departed,” Lawan said.
