Partial Church Opening; CAN Scores Churches with 95% compliance

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Bomadi a local government in Delta State has scored churches in Bomadi with 95% compliance to the social distancing rules set up by the state government for the partial opening of churches in the state.

Senior Apostle Sunday Ekeremor, who is the Chairman of CAN in Delta State, stated this yesterday after the Local CAN Monitoring Team visited different churches in the council area.

He noted that CAN in the council area deserves accolades for a job well done and strict adherence to Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa’s directives on church services over the Corona Virus Pandemic in the state.

The CAN Chairman, said; “What we are doing is in line with CAN directives at the State level, that we should enforce compliance of the state government’s directive on the partial opening of churches in the state.

He further added that; “We earlier carried out a very serious campaign in different forms, we even engaged town criers who went round Bomadi and its environs to create effective awareness on a need for strict compliance to the Governor’s directives.

The Cleric in full joy said; “What we saw in the course of monitoring the compliance of churches to ensure no church goes against the directives is satisfactory and I want to say the compliance is over 95%. I commend the church in Bomadi”. Senior Apostle Sunday Ekeremor, said.
