Coronavirus: NRC Suspends Operations
The Nigerian Railway Corporation has announced the suspension of passenger train operations over fear of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
According to a statement by the Corporation on Saturday, the Deputy Director Public Relations, Yakub Mohmood noted that the suspension of operations by the corporation takes effect from Monday, 23rd 2020.
“The board and Management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation has decided to stop all passenger’s train operation as from Monday, 23rd 2020”.
“This is in view of the report of the already know Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
Further information of passenger train services will be made available in due cause to our esteemed passengers”, he said.
