PDP Ahoada West LG crisis deepens, chieftain slams council chairman over defamation accusation

The controversy rocking the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State over the allegation of defamation of character of Local Government Chairman, HOPE IKIRIKO continues to generate reactions.
Recall that a social media influencer from the council area SANTOS OWOLO was arrested and detained by the police over the matter.
Consequently, the Special Chapter Chairman of Ijaw Youth Congress and a leader of the PDP in Ahoada West, Comrade SOKARI GOODBOY SOKARI dismissed accusations of sponsoring OWOLO to defame IKIRIKO on social media.
SOKARI spoke to our correspondent, describing the allegation as falsehood aimed at destroying his reputation.
