Breaking: Osun Traditional Council suspends Oluwo for six months
Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has been suspended for six months by the Traditional Rulers’ Council in Osun State.
Akanbi’s suspension was announced during an emergency meeting of top monarchs across the state. Addressing journalists after a meeting of the monarchs on Friday, Wahab Adedotun, the Orangun of Ila, said Akanbi was suspended for assaulting the Agbowu of Ogbaagbaa, Dhikurulahi Akinropo, and disrespecting other traditional rulers in Yorubaland.
