Abuja- Kaduna rail service to begin online ticketing soon- Amaechi
The Minister for Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi says automated and online ticketing will be deployed to address complaints from customers of the Abuja- Kaduna rail services. This was contained in a post made on his official twitter handle on Friday.
“We are aware of the issues and have heard all your complains about ticketing on the Abuja-Kaduna rail line. “We are already working on automation and online ticketing.”
The Honourable Minister further appealed for patience, while the ticketing solution is being fixed. “Please be patient with us as we try to fix this,” Amaechi added.
In October 2019, the Ministry of Transportation announced an increase in volume of daily users of the Abuja- Kaduna rail service, saying 3,700 passengers used the Rail service daily, as against 1,000 passengers who used the rail service in 2016, when it was commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari.
We are aware of the issues & have heard all your complains about ticketing on the Abuja-Kaduna rail line. We are already working on automation and online ticketing. Please be patient with us as we try to fix this, ASAP.
