Magu Visits Port Harcourt Zonal Office, warns against illegal oil bunkering

Acting Director of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Ibrahim Magu, on Tuesday, January 7, visited the Port Harcourt Zonal office of the Commission where also he held a press briefing to warn perpetuators illegal oil bunkering in the region.

“Let me also use this medium to warn all illegal oil bunkerers to desist from their nefarious operations”. “The Niger Delta is highly significant to our national economy and the Commission will continue to do all that is lawful and patriotic in ensuring that operators of illegal oil bunkering are brought to book”, he said. According to the report on the Commission’s official twitter handle, Mr Magu used the opportunity to visit Army Barracks in the State where he inspected forfeited vehicles.

Aside the EFCC’s Cooperate head office in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, the commission has zonal offices in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kano State, Gombe, Oyo State, Kaduna State and Borno State.

Other State where EFCC has Zonal offices are Edo, Akwa Ibom, Sokoto, Kwara and Markudi.
