Bandits kidnap 11 people in Niger, Kaduna-Suleja-Abuja Highway blocked by youths in protest

The bandits in Minna have renewed their onslaught on Niger state in Gauraka town Tafa local government area of the state as an early morning was carried out by them, to which they ended up kidnapping no fewer than twelve people from the area. According to Vanguard Correspondent, heavily armed bandits invaded the town and the immediate villages around 7:30 am today.

Also, a reliable source told Vanguard that the bandits who raided the villages came on motorcycles and kept shooting sporadically into the air to scare the people and moved from house to house to carry out the raid. While some of the villagers managed to escape in few others were trapped were abducted. In anger, Hundreds of Youths from the area hit the Kaduna-Suleja- Abuja road protesting the raid.
