Members of the Nigerian Police force reportedly engage in a heated clash with motorcyclists in Ogba area of Lagos on Friday.
According to sources, the dispute started on Thursday and consequently escalated on Friday.
It was said that the clash began when a police officer refused to pay for services rendered by an Okada rider.
Eyewitnesses said that the Okada rider insisted on collecting payment for the ride offered, after which the unidentified policeman refused and shot the rider instead.
Lagos residents have been advised to avoid the Ogba area for their safety as the situation is volatile.
Numerous reports describe the situation as chaotic especially around the area G, police command, Ogba.
A confirmation of the wounded is yet be received as videos surface on different social media platforms regarding the event.
