In Ondo state, the Residents of the Okitipupa area council raised an alarm over the invasion of Fulani men in the community. Reportedly, residents have sighted Over 45 Northerners in the community.
From report gotten,the Fulani men were brought to the community on Thursday in a truck and dumped around 9:00 pm not too far from the Army Barracks in the town for reasons unknown. Leaders in the community hurriedly went to inform both tthe state security outfit codenamed Amotekun and the council chairman lgbekele Akinrinwa As reported they were eventually rounded up and prevented from entering the community. Akinrinwa who is the council chairman, rushed to the scene that had already attracted a lot of the community residents, from a follow up story it was alleged that it was a native of the town who served as an enabler for the travellers’ trip to the town. Akinrinwa stated that those enablers had been arrested by personnel of the state’s security corps, he then went further to plead with the people to remain calm and not agitate as the visitors quickly be moved to Akure the state’s capital for further security checks and investigation.
