Approve Vocational Training Certificate as Optional Cert to Gain Admission
A lot of different institutions and mediums to acquire personal skills have been on a rise for a while, and it seem this is becoming a new accepted way of life. Some people are born with natural talent and skills but since they cannot afford going to universities to study more on that, so they chose to go through vocational schools to develop their skills, while others go to vocational schools just to acquire new skills.
Though the difference is that one cannot use a certificate acquired from vocational training school to gain admission into university or other higher institutions or be used as a substitute for gaining admission anywhere or neither is it regarded as viable in any government or business organizations across the country or the entire world at large.
So, since the world is changing fast and every aspect needing upgrading, Nigeria should also not be left out in the race to move ahead in all areas of the country’s developmental system.
“The federal government should pass into law the use of vocational training certificates to gain admission into schools, be accepted in organizations and business places and banks for other activities.
“Many things have to be made easier for everyone, the world is getting easier in every aspect it is therefore, necessary to explore unconventional ways different from that which we are very well familiar with.
“It is time for our Legislators and the Federal Government to pass into law the use of vocational training certificate to gain employment and admission into higher institutions in the country.
