Multiple award winning Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, must have concomitantly called out the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Deacon Udom Emmanuel, when she condemned Christians who spend too much on luxury funeral services. The Cross River state born movie star questioned the motives behind tiling the grave and giving it 24 hours electricity.

Recall that the Akwa Ibom State Governor had buried the late Father on February 15, 2020, in a tiled grave and customized coffin, with 24 hours electricity supplied to it. Kate Henshaw is just one of the many Nigerians who feel such luxury was not necessary. “We pay lip service to the words in our holy book. Why are you burying the dead in a tiled grave, 24 hours electricity and such an expensive coffin? Are they expected to wake to move around?? Let them rest in peace truly. I like the Muslim way of burial,” she said on Twitter.
