Dan Friedkin to Buy AS Roma for $ 1Billion
US Billionaire and Business man, Dan Friedkin is set to buy the majority share of Italian football club, AS Roma from current co-owner and chairman James Pallotta, according to a report by ASRomapress. Pallotta bought two-thirds of the club shares for US$100m in 2011. The US$1 billion price is said to include a capital increase of US$167 million, US$313 million of debt refinance and the club’s net worth valued at US$637 million.
54 years old Dan Friedkin who has a net worth of about $4 Billion owns Gulf States Toyota, a company based in Houston that has exclusive rights to distribute Toyota vehicles in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma. Dan Friedkin is also in to Real Estate business and owns a movie studio in the United States.
