Fashikun: FCT FA Chairman redeems N200, 000 pledge to family
FCT Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Mouktar has redeemed the N200,000 pledge he personally made as part of his assistance to the family of late media guru, Olajide Fashikun.
Mouktar who made the pledge on Monday, day Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) FCT chapter organised a memorial lecture in honour of the departed media sage redeemed it almost immediately.
Mouktar was one of those who spoke at the event he patiently attended from start to finish.
During the programme, the widely-known passionate football administrator described Fashikun as a man who is dedicated in his life time.
He urged his friends, close family relations and others not to forget the ideals popular Gongnews founder stood for.
